OUR VALUES

Compassion - We believe that every single person in the world deserves to be treated with respect, listened to, and loved regardless of their age, gender, political affiliation, religious preference, ethnicity, or socio-economic standing.

Love - We believe everything that we do must be done with great love. This is how the world will be able to identify us as God’s people. We do not want to merely serve or pray with others; we want to truly love people while also doing what we can to improve their lives both spiritually and physically.

Respect - Our conversations, both small and significant, will be defined by mutual respect. We will listen to, learn from, and value one another even when we don't agree. We cherish a community that is diverse yet focused on the cross of Jesus as our common priority.

Gifts - We believe that all people have been gifted by God to do something well in this world. Every person must actively seek to identify their giftedness and use it to help the kingdom of God break out in new places in the world around them.

Passion - We believe God desires for His people to be passionate about life. We have not been called just to exist or to maintain but to thrive and seek how to make the most difference we can in this life. Our passion must attempt to match that of the One who has come before us.

Authentic Community - We are committed to being an authentic community. An authentic community is a place where honest and forthright discussion can take place. We are sincere with one another about the troubles and difficulties that life often brings. Our church is a place where people gather together for the purpose of encouraging and enriching one another’s lives and spurring each other on towards being more like Jesus in the world.

Service - God has called us to be people who “Go.” Reaching out to the world around us will always be a top priority. As God’s people, we share a deep concern for those in the world who do not yet know the Father. We will be a people that are constantly seeking fresh ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world around us.

Commitment - We believe God’s people must be committed to living lives of holiness and devotion. This means that we always make our faith and pursuit of Godliness the top priority in our lives. It must be this faith that drives each of our decisions and is the primary lens through which we choose to view the world around us.
